Hi, Alan. It's been a couple of months but the work is finally done! The flooring turned out great! We have had nothing but compliments by all who see it. We could not believe that the floors arrived within 24 hours! Since the floors arrived ahead of schedule, we were able to get all 960 square feet of laminate laid this weekend (and installation was a breeze).
The samples definitely helped us to decide on what flooring we wanted, but we were still a little apprehensive because it was hard to tell what the whole floor would look like after installed. But let me tell you, WOW. The quality and the appearance of these floors is amazing. It looks like real hard wood! Hi! I placed an order for Quickstep 700 flooring in Golden Oak. The person helping me was Alan Gentry. First, I can't tell you how refreshing it was to find someone so knowledgeable and friendly to deal with! He was incredibly pleasant to talk to---especially at 8:00 pm EST on a Friday!
I ordered 15 boxes and had them shipped to my local SAIA terminal. They were available for pickup the following Wednesday. We installed the flooring that Saturday in less than 5 hours.
My boyfriend and I have been doing quite a bit of remodeling and have had some good experiences, but the installation of the Quick Step flooring was far easier than anything else we've done--and looks professional. My floor is absolutely beautiful, and your prices were phenomenal.
A major flooring company who advertises on TV and offers in-home estimates and next day installation quoted me $3400 to install the exact same flooring I ordered from you for less than $550 (and they claimed that their price was after a 50% discount on materials)!
I'm going to be building a new house in the next year and a half or so, and I know exactly where I'm going to get all of my flooring--from AffordaFloors! I've also referred all of my home improvement buddies to your site.
